K-State Olathe Innovation Campus/Kansas Bioscience Park

Schlagel & Associates’ site design for the project included fourteen buildings for Kansas Bioscience Park and eight buildings for K-State Olathe Innovation Campus arranged to provide views to open space areas.  A central landscape street links the buildings and open space.  Two large lakes, a natural area, and several pedestrian plazas within the open space areas are connected by a hike/bike trail and a series of pedestrian walkways.  Landscape design services provided by Schlagel & Associates included entry monument signs, bridge enhancements, pedestrian plaza design, stream restoration, storm water feature and native prairie grass design.
