Rural Water District #6

The project involved over nine miles of eight and twelve inch water main extensions for Johnson County Rural Water District #6.  The scope of work included developing design solutions for creek crossings, sensitive environmental areas, steep terrain, rocky soils, wet soils, and forested areas.  Services provided by Schlagel & Associates, P.A.  included preparation of all construction documents and specifications, contractor procurement, construction consultation, preparation and acquisition of easements, and observation.  Our firm also prepared a detailed hydraulic analysis of the existing system and adjusted the analysis from actual flow and pressure readings throughout the district.
