Schlagel & Associates, P.A. provided engineering, landscape architecture and surveying services for three Sunrise Senior Living projects. Each community has private gardens with abundant landscaping with four season interest, benches, and other garden structures. The site grading was carefully designed to provide accessible access from the parking and building to the entrance and garden areas. In addition, the community in Leawood has parking on the lower level of the building which required an atypical grading design to allow positive drainage. The Lenexa site includes a design for an underground detention facility.
